Act! by Sage 2012

To ensure that ACT! by Sage 2012 meets expectations ahead of the installation all exisiting hardware needs to meet the ACT! by Sage system requirements. Below are the minimum and recommended specifications to operate ACT! by Sage 2012.

Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2008 (ACT! for Web is not compatible on the Small business Server edition)

*All current Windows Updates and Service Packs must be applied.

2GB RAM
4GB RAM (Small Business Server 2003)

Hard Drive Space:

5GB Free Hard Disk Space

Hardware:

CD drive and SVGA (1024 x 768) or higher resolution monitor.
100 Mbs NIC

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5/6.0/7.0

Please Note:

If you wish to use MS Office you will need MS Office 2003\Office 2007
*all service packs applied. Office 2000 is not supported.
If you wish to open Adobe PDF documents you will require Adobe Reader V6 or above
If you wish to use ACT Email you will require either MS Outlook 2003\Office 2007

Note: ACT! by Sage Premium for Workgroups 2008 uses a restricted instance of SQL Server 2005 Express or Standard Edition which cannot be used for any other product other than ACT! by Sage Premium for Workgroups 2008.
